Wedding at the Flowerpot in Hoxton

I love a London wedding, and Dani & Christians seriously cool wedding at The Flowerpot in Hoxton was up there with the best.

From the Indian taxi to the vinyl playing DJ’s to Ian Brown photobombing the dress shot. This badass central London wedding was ace from start to finish (and it was a late one).

The morning started with Dani & Christian getting ready just a couple of doors away from each other. Dani looked amazing in her Grace Loves Lace dress, and Christian looked sharp in his Hugo Boss suit (not the kilt that he pranked his niece into thinking he was wearing). We all then headed across to Islington town hall for a nice intimate ceremony, which included just the couple and seven guests. Dani wasn’t aware, but her transport for the day was in the form of an awesome Karma Kab, an authentic Indian ambassador car, fully kitted out in flowers, sequins and silk.. It was amazing way to travel to the town hall. All of the London town halls are pretty nice, but Islington is my firmly my favourite.

I’ve shot in the Mayors parlour a couple of times before and its the perfect little room for a small ceremony. After the marriage itself, it was then off to The Canonbury Tavern in North Islington, where a whole heap more wedding guests had arrived, and we all stopped for some grub, speeches and one of the best magicians I’ve ever seen..

It was then on to The Flower Pot in Hoxton for the party, which was exactly what it was. The Flower pot is a great space as it is, but Dani & Christian spent hours adding extra lights and finishes turning it into a perfect venue for the nights shenanigans. A series of friends took to the decks for the evening. And with the music ranging from funk and disco to some banging house tunes things carried on until the early hours..
