Lusty Glaze Beach Wedding – Carly & Pete

Carly & Petes Lusty Glaze Beach Wedding was all sorts of ace.. From the moment that Carly told me that the guests who couldn’t go down the steps to the beach were going in on the zip line instead, I knew we were going to get on (sadly, Lusty Glaze closed the zip line before the wedding… Booooo)..

The boys headed to the pub for a few pre ceremony beers with Nelly the boxer in tow, whilst Carly got ready at the  St Ives Harbour Hotel & Spa, before heading to Ludgvan in her split screen camper.

The ceremony was held at St Pauls church in Ludgvan, the church at which Petes late mum was a vicar. After the ceremony it was all aboard two vintage buses (‘Dumpy’ and ‘Hughy’) to head to the beach.. Lusty Glaze beach is a small private beach, just on the outskirts of Newquay in Cornwall, Its a stunning place for a wedding, and once you have made your way down the steps and onto the sand, there is nothing around you, other than the beach, the cliffs and the odd surfer.

There was music from the awesome Keiko Rise, who played both on the beach and inside in the evening, the plenty of beach volleyball to boot. So it was basically a day of sunshine, music, beach volleyball, pizza and beer. Is there any more that you could ever want?
