So last month I headed to Barcelona with a small group of awesomely talented wedding photographers to shoot a little street photography. Shooting street isn’t a million miles away from shooting weddings in the way that I do, It often involves a decent amount of patience and waiting for a composition and it involves a constant eye looking all around for that moment or scene that no one else has spotted. Its much harder than it looks but it can be massively rewarding and its heaps of fun..
We did a whole heap of walking and almost as much eating. I’d only ever been to Barcelona once before and that was only for the day so I’d barely scratched the surface of the city. Luckily we had an unofficial tour guide with fellow wedding photographer Jack pointing us in the direction of tasty tapas, and also giving us the heads up as to how to avoid the tourist traps. If you haven’t been to Barcelona then I cant recommend it enough, it has the perfect mix of city and beach and being 18 degrees in February made it feel like summer.. I reckon I might be heading back with my wife and kids at some point soon..
Anyway, armed with a single camera and one lens (50mm for those that care) here is what I came back with….
SO COOL man love them!
