Twenty Fifteen… Wow, what a year! Not only my busiest yet (although 2016 is giving it a run for its money already, I figure that getting this out by the end of February is ok right??) but also my finest in terms of the images I’ve created and the weddings I’ve been lucky enough to be asked to capture. They say that if you do something you love, you will never work a day in your life and I can’t even begin to tell you how lucky I feel to be able to call this my “job”, so I want to begin by saying thank you. Thank you to every single one of the awesome couples that gave me the privilege of being your wedding photographer, it was a pleasure to be a part of your day. Without you I’m not sure what I’d be doing (probably bumming around somewhere on my skateboard..). Thanks also to my wingmen that shot along side me last year and to the awesome venues and other vendors that I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
There were quite a few firsts last year. A groom arriving on a white horse, a helicopter ride with a newly married couple, a wedding in the oldest working cinema in the United Kingdom and a 6.30 am swim in the English Channel being just a few! I was lucky enough to shoot some awesome musicians, such as Paloma Faith, The Prodigy, José Gonzalez (twice), Public Enemy, Jurassic 5, Logic and a few more (although I’ve decided to keep this post strictly to weddings).
Having already started my weddings for 2016, to say I’m amped for the year ahead would be an understatement of epic proportions. If you are one of the couples that have booked me already for this year, I look forward to hanging out with you and creating some awesome memories!
So thanks again, to brides and grooms past, present and future, you guys rock….
And finally….
