Tasha & Fran’s Wedding at Chiswell Street Dining Rooms.
I’ve been looking forward to sharing this one. I grew up in London and when I head back into the city it feels like home. City weddings always have a great feel and Tashs & Fran’s wedding at Chiswell Street Dining Rooms was no different.
The day started with Tasha and her girls getting ready at the Montcalm Hotel on Chiswell Street while the boys hung out at their cool shorditch apartment before heading to the pub and then to St Etheldredas Church, a 13th century church hidden away in the heart of Holborn on Ely Place. With family and friends from all across the country, Tasha and Fran organised two double decker buses to take us all on a tour of London. This included not only fizz and strawberries and homemade snack boxes but more importantly, a quiz about the couple, the winner of which receiving a bottle of Jägermeister…
The final stop would be the lovely Chiswell Street Dining Rooms, a restaurant witch forms part of the historic Whitbread brewery which couldn’t feel more London, Its lovely.. After some amazing food it was time for some speeches, with another quiz from the two best men during theirs, the intention of which being to embarrass Fran and get everyone on fits of laughter… They succeeded.
Next up, in the basement was the art deco tropical disco, thats right… The art deco tropical disco complete with an art deco bar, palm trees and golden pineapples. Fresh off the BBC introducing stage at Glastonbury were Kioko to provide some reggae tunes to get the party started before DJ Woody took control of the decks for an all vinyl set…
There was simply too much fun to really put it into a few words here so I’ll let the photos do the talking, but thank you to Tasha and Fran for having such an awesome wedding with such awesome friends, and thanks also to Nikki and the team at Chiswell St Dining rooms for being awesome too and looking after myself and my second shooter for the day Paul..
