Adam & Nic’s Northampton Guildhall Wedding was the smallest wedding I’ve ever shot, only 15 people were in attendance and that was including the bride and groom themselves! Don’t get me wrong, I like a big wedding with a massive party as much as anyone but there is something kinda special about have a really intimate wedding with just your closest family around you. It reminds you what it is all about, the marriage..
It was a pretty relaxed affair from the off, with Adam arriving first and waiting on the steps for his soon to be wife, Nic, before they headed up to the grand council chambers. After the ceremony, which included an awesome reading of “Oh the Places You’ll Go” by Dr Seuss from the dude of the day, Noah, we headed off to a few nearby spots for some photos and then onto the bluebells at Badby Woods to catch them before they disappear for the summer.
The wedding breakfast was at the village pub and was more like a family gathering only with heaps of lovely wildflowers to match Nic’s bouquet. And that was it, no party with a band or drunken dance floor antics late into the night.. Just two people, heading off in the early evening for a short break with each other to enjoy their married life together, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.

These photos are simply beautiful. The wedding was my partner’s son Adam and his lovely wife Nic. You’ve captured a warm and quiet intimacy between them that I feel honoured to witness – lovely, thank you.
Incredible photography! Your talent really shines through. Cheers to your success! Anja
